Like most Americans and Connecticut residents, we also unequivocally believe that everyone should be able to access high-quality reproductive health care services, including the choice to have a safe and legal abortion.
In the first 100 days after Roe v. Wade was reversed by the Supreme Court, nearly 22 million women, or 29% of women who are of reproductive age lived in a state where abortion is banned or limited to six weeks gestational age. Some clinics have closed completely, unlikely to ever re-open, and that means a loss of health care for communities. Source: NPR
