Kaitlyn Shake fights for Stratford residents and their families every day. She is a Nurse and proud AFSCME CHCA Unit 23 member with over a decade of experience caring for women and children. Outside of her demanding full time job as a frontline healthcare worker, Shake is serving in her third term on the Stratford Town Council as Democratic Party Leader. Working across the aisle, Shake championed victories, benefitting her district and all residents of Stratford on: public safety, increasing education funding, infrastructure funding, connecting business owners with state funding during COVID-19, strongly advocating for Paid Family Medical Leave, addressing housing/food insecurity and protecting our green spaces. After working on her fifth town budget, it is clear that Stratford needs a strong, trusted leader who will fight at the State level to ensure our residents, schools and businesses can do more than just succeed–they can thrive.
