Welcome to the Stratford Democratic Town Committee!

After years as an active member, I began my tenure as DTC Chair in June, 2022 – a time of fear and uncertainty for many of us. For me, the response to these feelings has been intentional, connected action.

From that springs HOPE! And my, have we found it: locally with residents turning out in large numbers at public forums; and nationally with Kansas Democrats defying expectations and preserving reproductive rights. These voices – activated together, in large numbers – made a difference.

I have witnessed with great joy as our membership builds strong commitments to one another, launches our subcommittees, shares their wealth of expertise and experience, and shows up – for our candidates, our elected officials, and our neighbors across Stratford.

That’s important to the DTC. We want our efforts to reach all neighborhoods and listen to the issues of different communities. We are a diverse town with varied needs and our members are your neighbors.

Personally, and I’m sure I can speak for the members of the Committee, we have created lifelong friendships and shared many laughs together!
