Word From the Chair – November 2020

The last ballots were counted earlier this month, and regardless of any landscaping press conferences or other distraction by the outgoing president, I couldn’t be happier with the results.  Stratford voters recognized the team that represents the working class families of Stratford and voted for every Democrat on the ticket.

None of this could have happened without the dedicated work of a whole team behind the scenes, and in this exhausting, challenging year we showed what we can do when we work together, pick each other up along the way, and share the load.

We did what we needed to be done on the national level, and now it’s time to turn our attention home and work on Stratford.  We are building off our 2020 successes and have reached out to every Stratford Democrat to join us and get involved.  2021 will require 21 candidates from land boards, Board of Ed, Town Council, and Mayor.

2020 was a huge election and we can hope for some sanity in Washington and Hartford. What we accomplished was great and I’m looking forward to beating the next challenge together, because now it’s time to do the same for Stratford.
