About the Committee
Stratford Democratic Town Committee
We are 92 citizens of Stratford, CT, committed to good government and the principles of The Democratic Party. We have a big tent, and our committee comes from every walk of life.
Mission
The Stratford Democratic Town Committee supports candidates who endeavor to create an attractive and safe community where a superior quality of life can be enjoyed from birth through retirement by providing to all of its residents:
- the opportunity for an exceptional education,
- business development plans that allow for meaningful careers,
- enriching recreational opportunities,
- a full spectrum of municipal services,
- a secure and satisfying retirement, and
- a government that puts the needs of the citizens at the forefront of every decision.
The Stratford Democratic Town Committee believes that diversity equals unity, and all of the town's residents should enjoy equal freedom, liberty, and opportunity.
Meetings
We generally meet at 7:00 PM on the first Monday of every month at the Baldwin Center but watch the Upcoming Events list for specifics. All official meetings of the Democratic Party are open to the public.
